It’s with much sadness that we have to announce the British American Football Association officially cancelled the 2020 season on May 12th. This was obviously due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.

We at the Mustangs were really looking forward to the new season (which for us should have started last Sunday, the 10th of May) as we had had our best recruitment and pre season in many a year before all Football activities were suspended at the start of lockdown in the UK.

Hopefully we can beat this devastating disease and return to Football ASAP.

In the meantime, we’ll be working on our plans for the resumption of Football, hopefully starting with a new round of Rookie Days in the Autumn.

Thanks for your support and please stay in touch with us as we look forward to once again being able to participate in the sport we all love.

After 16 years, Chris decided to hang up his cleats, but his bio is more than worth an insight in to a great football career.

The original Mustang and for a lot of people in the British game, 'Mr Football'. Mark has 30 years experience as a player, Coach, and Manager with British football teams and it's fitting that as a Doncaster native he was an original Doncaster Jaguar in the 80's. After a Championship title with the Barnsley Bears in 1990, and a season over the Pennines with the Merseyside Nighthawks, Mark decided to football another chance in his hometown and founded the Mustangs in 2002.
